We are happy to announce that Evangelical College of Theology is now a contextual partnership of Kairos University in the United States of America. Through the partnership, interested and eligible candidates from north east India will have the opportunity to pursue a Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) degree through Kairos University.
Kairos is an accredited university and the doctoral program offered under this partnership is exceptionally affordable. This program is designed to be completed at a distance. No travel to the US or study leave from work is required for participation. Classes will be held on the university’s online platform and are offered in a flexible manner. Students will receive free access to an online library that is accessible at all times.
As a contextual partner, ECT will provide professional mentors to help the students in their learning process. This Th. D. program could be completed in approximately three years, though much will depend on the student’s speed in completing the course work and writing the doctoral dissertation.
Initially students under the partnership will be able to pursue a specialization in the area of Missiology, and the number of students will be limited to three at the most. A student must have completed M. Th. degree in order to qualify for admission to this doctoral program.
